UPDATE: The PPL Center has revealed tickets cost
Hours after announcing the addition of Def Leppard with Styx and Tesla to its lineup, the PPL Center revealed Friday in a news release country music singer Jason Aldean will bring his We Were Here 2016 Tour to Allentown.
The concert is scheduled for May 6. Singer Thomas Rhett and the band A Thousand Horses will open the show, according to the release.
Ticket prices and on-sale date were not announced.
Aldean's fourth studio album, 2010's My Kinda Party, has been certified triple-platinum. His hits include "Why," "She's Country," "Big Green Tractor," "The Truth," "Dirt Road Anthem," "Fly Over States," "Take a Little Ride," "Night Train," "When She Says Baby," "Burnin' It Down," "Just Gettin' Started," "Tonight Looks Good on You" and his duet with Kelly Clarkson, "Don't You Wanna Stay," among others.
On Friday, Aldean released the music video for his latest single, "Gonna Know We Were Here," through Yahoo.
