Tony Bennett, Staind front man among new Sands acts

Grammy Award-winning singer Tony Bennett, Staind front man Aaron Lewis and comedian Sebastian Maniscalco have joined the Sands Bethlehem Event Center's 2016 event lineup.

The three shows were announced Monday in a news release.

Bennett is scheduled for 8 p.m. May 14. Tickets cost $79.50-$99.50. The legendary crooner previously headlined the venue in 2013. He performed two years earlier, in 2011, at the Zoellner Arts Center in Bethlehem.

Lewis will perform 8 p.m. Feb. 11. The Staind singer last visited Sands in. Lewis has released two solo efforts and seven studio albums with nu-metal group Staind. Staind's hits include "Mudshovel," "It's Been Awhile," "For You" and "So Far Away."

Lewis famously first scored a solo hit with the song "Outside," a live acoustic performance that features backing vocals from Limp Bizkit front Fred Durst. The single was included on the compilation album The Family Values Tour 1999. The song was later re-recorded by Staind for the band's sophomore album, Break the Cycle.

Maniscalco is set for 8 p.m. April 1. The Chicago native has appeared on such late-night television talk shows as The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, Late Night with Seth Meyers and Conan.

Tickets for Maniscalco and Lewis each cost $35-$55.

Tickets for all three shows go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 20, through ticketmaster.com, sandseventcenter.com, by phone at 800-745-3000 and at the box office, 77 Sands Blvd.
