The State Theatre on Tuesday announced the addition of four shows to its 2015-16 lineup, including comedian Bobby Collins and "Once the Musical."
Ronan Tynan, of the Irish Tenors, and The Doo Wop Project, have also been added to the calendar, according to a news release.
Show time is 7:30 for all of the announced performances. Dates and ticket prices are:
- April 1: Bobby Collins; $30
- April 12: "Once the Musical"; $66, $59
- April 15: Ronan Tynan; $40, $35
- July 9: The Doo Wop Project; $39, $34
Collins is a regular visitor to the historic Easton venue. He most recently headlined the theater in May. That performance was filmed for an upcoming DVD special.
"Once the Musical" earned eight Tony Awards in 2012, including the award for Best Musical.
The Doo Wop Project features former and current members of the Broadway musicals "Jersey Boys" and "Motown: The Musical." The group performs hits by such groups as the Crests, the Temptations, Smokey Robinson, Michael Jackson, Amy Winehouse, Jason Mraz and The Four Seasons.
