Comedy legend Don Rickles and comedian and former Saturday Night Live cast member Joe Piscopo have joined the Sands Bethlehem Event Center's winter and spring lineups. Both shows were announced Monday in a news release.
Piscopo -- best known for his impressions of iconic singer, and fellow New Jersey native, Frank Sinatra, during the former's four-year tenure on SNL -- is set to perform 8 p.m. Dec. 12. Tickets cost $35-$55.
Piscopo, the celebrity ambassador for the National Italian American Federation, will be saluting the life, legacy and music of Sinatra in honor of what would have been the influential crooner's 100th birthday on Dec. 12, according to the release. Sinatra died May 14, 1998. Piscopo joined the cast of SNL in 1980 and remained through 1984.
The 89-year-old Rickles, whose sharp one-liners and insult comic persona earned him the nickname "Mr. Warmth," is scheduled to return 8 p.m. May 12. Tickets cost $55-$79.50. Rickles previously headlined the venue in July 2012.
Tickets for both performances go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 13, through ticketmaster.com, sandseventcenter.com, by phone at 800-745-3000 and at the box office, 77 Sands Blvd.
