Six local concerts not to miss: July 19-25

So you enjoy supporting local music, eh? Excellent. Here are six Lehigh Valley shows worth checking out this week:

ACOUSTIC KITTY PROJECT | 1:45 p.m. today, Walter's Park, 1 Meyner Road, Phillipsburg. Acoustic Kitty Project -- a rich blend of folk, country and alternative rock fronted by singer-songwriter Carter Lansing -- heads across the Delaware River to pounce on the Phillipsburg Ole Towne Festival. Here, Kitty, Kitty!

KILLER GHOST, WINSTONS, TEAMMATES AND THE YETIS | Wednesday, July 22, The Alternative Gallery, 707 N. Fourth St., Suite 103, Allentown. Doors open 6 p.m. Music starts 7 p.m. Seattle-based psychedelic/lo-fi rockers Killer Ghost headlines a quadruple bill, with support from New York City's Winstons, Kutztown natives Teammates and Allentown's own The Yetis. Cost is $7.

CIRCLE OF SEASONS BENEFIT SHOW | Friday, July 24, The Alternative Gallery, 707 N. Fourth St., Suite 103, Allentown. Doors open 6 p.m. Music starts 7 p.m. This all-ages concert will feature the bands Summer Scouts, Legion of Womb, Wet Hands and Jake McKelvie & the Countertops. Legion of Womb will be celebrating the release of their debut EP. Cost is $5 at the door. Free admission for children.

EXPLORERS | 10 p.m. Friday, July 24, Porters' Pub, 700 Northampton St., Easton. Any band that describes its sound as "aggressively sexy" is worth experiencing in person. No cover.

THE PHOENIX BRIDGE | 9:30 p.m. Friday, July 24, The Funhouse, 5 E. Fourth St., Bethlehem. Straight outta Allentown, alternative rock band The Phoenix Bridge will light up Bethlehem's The Funhouse.

DAN DECHELLIS TRIO | 10 p.m. Saturday, July 25, Pearly Baker's Alehouse, 11 Centre Square, Easton. Fresh off of their performance at the Easton Heritage Day festival, the Dan DeChellis Trio returns to the city for an evening of intimate, cool jazz. Dig it. Free admission.
