The documentary Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck and the "Happy Birthday, Hitch!" Film Series are among the films coming to the SteelStacks complex in Bethlehem.

Montage of Heck -- a gripping account of the life of late Nirvana front-man Kurt Cobain and his explosive rocket ride to international fame and success, told through home footage and animation using the musician's own words and images -- will be shown 7:15 p.m. Aug. 17 and Aug. 18 in the Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas at the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks, 101 Founders Way.

The film also features interviews with Cobain's widow, Hole singer Courtney Love, and his former Nirvana bandmate, bassist Krist Novoselic, among others. Tickets cost $10, $8 for students and seniors and $7.50 for ArtsQuest members.

"Happy Birthday, Hitch!" opens 7:15 p.m. Aug. 17 with a screening of director Alfred Hitchcock's 1960 black-and-white masterpiece, Psycho. The film stars Anthony Perkins as deranged serial killer Norman Bates and Janet Leigh (mother of actress Jamie Lee Curtis) as Marion Crane. Psycho will also be screened 4:15 p.m. Aug. 18.

Next up will be 1943's Shadow of a Doubt, screening 7:15 p.m. Aug. 18 and 4:15 p.m. Aug. 19. To Catch a Thief, released in 1955 and starring screen icons Cary Grant and Grace Kelly, will be shown 7:15 p.m. Aug. 19 and 4:15 p.m. Aug. 20.

The series concludes 7:30 p.m. Aug. 20 with the latest installment of ArtsQuest's "Soundtrack Comes Alive" series, featuring Not So Silent Cinema performing during a showing of Hitchcock's 1929 thriller (and final silent film), Blackmail. Tickets for Not So Silent Cinema cost $13, $10 for ArtsQuest members.

Tickets for the Psycho, Shadow of a Doubt and To Catch a Thief each cost $10, $8 for students and seniors and $7.50 for ArtsQuest members. Ticket packages for all four screenings cost $37, $32.50 for students and seniors and $28 for ArtsQuest members.
