Homebase Skateshop this weekend will celebrate its move to Easton with a three-day grand opening celebration.
The celebration start 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, with a ribbon cutting with Easton Mayor Sal Panto Jr. and the Easton Business Association. The ribbon cutting will be followed at 5 p.m. with the debut of the Easton Flea pop-up flea market on the store's second floor, featuring more than 10 vendors selling DIY, handmade and vintage goods. The Easton Flea vendors will also be in the store noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 23.
The festivities will continue 6 to 10 p.m. Friday with artist reception showcasing works by Jared Jackson, with food and drinks provided by Blue Sky Cafe and Weyerbacher Brewing Company.
Homebase Skateshop relocated in June to Northampton Street in Downtown Easton after spending 13 years in SouthSide Bethlehem.
