Classic rock band America and Motown icon Smokey Robinson in the fall will bring their respective tours to Bethlehem.
Robinson is set for 8 p.m. Oct. 9 at the Sands Bethlehem Event Center. America is scheduled for 8 p.m. Nov. 8 at the venue. Both shows were announced Monday in a news release.
Tickets cost $49.50-$69.50 for Motown icon Robinson; $39.50-$55 for America. Tickets for both shows go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 28, through ticketmaster.com, sandseventcenter.com, by calling 800-745-3000 and at the Sands box office, 77 Sands Blvd.
Robinson previously performed at the Sands Bethlehem Event Center in December 2013. In October 2014, Robinson headlined Lehigh University's Zoellner Arts Center in Bethlehem. His distinct voice can be heard on such hits as "The Tracks of My Tears," "Tears of a Clown," "You've Really Got a Hold on Me," "Shop Around," "OOO Baby Baby" and "I Second That Emotion."
America is best known for such songs as "A Horse with No Name" and "Ventura Highway."
