Veteran blues guitarist Joe Bonamassa is unplugging and going acoustic for a 2016 concert at the State Theatre in Easton.
Bonamass is set for 8 p.m. Jan. 14, officials announced Thursday in a news release. Tickets cost $89-$125.
Bonamassa will be joined by acclaimed Chinese cellist Tina Guo and Egyptian composer Hossam Ramzy, according to the release. Ramzy performed with founding Led Zeppelin members Robert Plant and Jimmy Page during the latter two's No Quarter: Unledded Tour.
In 1989, Bonamassa, at the age of 12, opened for B.B. King, according to the release. Bonamassa has released 17 solo albums over 15 years through his label, J&R Adventures. His 2014 album, Different Shade of Blue, debuted at No. 8 on Billboard's Top 200 chart.
