The Star of Bethlehem Festival will feature three days of whiskey and craft beer tastings, wine and live music in Downtown Bethlehem.
The event will be held May 13-15 at the Daniel E. Rice Plaza at Lehigh and Main streets, culminating May 15 with a screening of the 2014 Colin Firth film Kingsman: The Secret Service.
Here is the schedule:
May 13 (Star Bar Whiskey and Craft Beer Festival)
5 to 10 p.m.: McCarthy's Red Stag Pub and Whiskey Bar will host a whiskey tasting, while Philadelphia-based Yards Brewing Company will offer craft beer tastings. More than 20 craft beers will be available for tasting and purchase in the beer garden, according to a news release. Beer and whiskey tasting tickets each cost $25; $40 for both.
May 14 (Christmas City Wine Festival)
1 to 6 p.m.: The Christmas City Wine Festival will feature Pennsylvania wineries and meaderies, plus live music by Girl Crue and Cherry Bombs. Tickets cost $15 in advance, $20 at the gate.
May 15 (Star Screen Movie Nite)
5 to 10:30 p.m.: The Star Garden will be open for beer and food sales up until the start of the movie. Tickets for the Kingsman screening cost $5 and will be available at McCarthy's Red Stag Pub and Whiskey Bar, 534 Main St., Bethlehem, and at Step in 4 Mor, 1823 W. Allen St. No. 2, Allentown.
Patrons must be 21 to enter. Strollers will not be permitted.
