Singer-songwriter Scott Marshall on Sunday walked away with a staggering nine wins at the Lehigh Valley Music Awards.
The ceremony was held in front of a packed room at Musikfest Cafe in Bethlehem.
In addition to the awards, the evening included several impressive performances, most notably by heavy-metal band MindMaze, Fusion Jazz Trio, 20-year-old singer Erin Kelly and students from the School of Rock, The Lesson Center and Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts.
Trailing behind Marshall -- whose wins included Outstanding All-Around Performer and Outstanding Male Vocalist -- was The Holmes Family, with three. Newcomers Kelly, Chelsea Lyn Meyer and the band No Pressure tied with two.
Industry veterans James Supra, Craig Thatcher (who closed out the show with a searing rendition of Cream's "White Room") and Dave Fry each went home with two awards as well. The Godfrey Daniels founder gave a touching speech after accepting a special recognition award for his more than 50 years of contributing to the Lehigh Valley music scene.
