Aretha Franklin, "The Queen of Soul," on Aug. 8 will headline Musikfest in Bethlehem, officials announced Wednesday in a news release.
Tickets cost $44-$69 and go on sale 10 a.m. April 26 to ArtsQuest members, 10 a.m. April 29 to the public through musikfest.org and by calling 610-332-3378. Show time is 8:30 p.m.
The 74-year-old singer behind such iconic R&B hits as "Respect," "Chain of Fools" and "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman" has earned 18 Grammy Awards throughout her career and is the most charted female artist in Billboard history, according to the release.
Franklin was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987. In 2010, Franklin earned the top spot on Rolling Stone magazine's "100 Greatest Singers of All Time" list.
Musikfest will be held Aug. 5-14.
