Veteran punk rock band The Queers and former Ramones drummer Richie Ramone have each been added to The Gin Mill & Grille's 2016 concert calendar.
The Queers will perform May 20 at the Northampton rock club, according to the venue's website. Richie Ramone is scheduled for July 13.
Richie Ramone is best known for his four-year stint with the iconic punk group. He recorded drums on the Ramones albums Too Tough to Die, Animal Boy and Halfway to Sanity. Richie Ramone composed the band's 1986 hit "Somebody Put Something in My Drink."
The two shows join a growing list of nationally-recognized acts and recording artists to headline the Gin Mill in recent months -- including Puddle of Mudd, Trapt, Saving Abel and Mushroomhead.
Puddle of Mudd's February performance ended abruptly when singer Wesley Scantlin walked off stage after berating the crowd and the venue's sound technician -- a move that was captured on video and posted to YouTube.
