Bethlehem's Billy Bauer Band next week will open for multi-platinum-selling recording artist Blues Traveler at Penn's Peak in Jim Thorpe.
The show is scheduled for July 29. Show time is 8 p.m.
Tickets cost $30 in advance, $35 at the door.
Blues Traveler's 1994 album Four spawned the hits "Run-Around" and "Hook." The group released their 12th studio effort, Blow up the Moon, in April 2015.
Bauer performs with his band -- rounded out by violinist Chris Lorenzetti, drummer Drew Somers and bassist Steve Zalalas -- and as a solo artist. He has become a fixture of the Lehigh Valley music circuit and hosts ArtsQuest's weekly Thursday night open mic night at the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks.
Bauer recently released the single "Worms" as a streaming single. "Worms" is Bauer's first single since he underwent successful throat surgery in 2015.
