A handful of lucky School of Rock students will have a rare opportunity to go behind the curtain for a look at the backstage world of Kiss.
Nine students from the school's Easton and Allentown locations will not only attend Kiss' Thursday night concert at the Great Allentown Fair, but will also meet the band backstage and sit in during the group's soundcheck. Easton School of Rock co-founder Ray Thierrin on Tuesday announced the news via Facebook.
Thierrin said in a Facebook exchange that the VIP tickets were given on behalf of School of Rock board member Jeff McClusky, of Chicago-based entertainment promotion and artist exposure firm McClusky & Associates, and were handed out to students on a first-come, first-served basis.
Show time for Kiss' performance is 7 p.m. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame quartet is in the midst of their Freedom to Rock Tour.
