Easton's new music venue has announced its first act: Trapt.
The hard rock band behind the hits "Headstrong" and "Still Frame" will perform an acoustic show May 23 at One Centre Square, the venue has revealed via Facebook. The date is also listed on Trapt's official website.
Trapt will be joined by supporting act Smile Empty Soul. In 2003, the latter's self-titled debut album spawned the single "Bottom of a Bottle."
Tickets cost $20-$23.
Trapt headlined Northampton's Gin Mill & Grille in February 2016. The band opened for Puddle of Mudd in 2009 at Musikfest. Trapt's seventh studio album, DNA, dropped in August 2016.
One Centre Square is located in the same business space as the former Drinky's Nightclub. Drinky's closed its doors on Jan. 1.
The owners of Drinky's, in a Dec. 29 interview with LehighValleyLive.com, said the venue would be revamped and and reopen in the spring as a 1,000-seat concert space, although an official opening date was not announced.
