Nazareth lands its own pop culture convention with inaugural 'Naz Pop '17'

Nazareth is arguably best known as a music destination, considering Upper Nazareth Township is home of famed guitar manufacturer C.F. Martin & Co.

But that may change in the fall.

The inaugural "Naz Pop '17" pop culture convention will be held Sept. 23 and 24 at the Nazareth Center for the Arts, 30 Belvidere St.

The two-day event will feature comic books and comic book art, cosplay and panel discussions, according to convention's website.

Admission costs $5; free for children ages 10 and under.

Hours are noon to 6 p.m. Sept. 23 and noon to 5 p.m. Sept. 24.
