Actor Val Kilmer will appear June 12 at the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks to host a screening of his new film Citizen Twain, officials announced Thursday in a news release.
The screening, which will be held in Musikfest Cafe, will include a question-and-answer with the star.
Tickets, which cost $29-$34, go on sale 10 a.m. March 28 to ArtsQuest members and 10 a.m. March 31 to the public through steelstacks.org. Meet-and-greet VIP packages cost cost $75.
Citizen Twain is based on Kilmer's one-man play of the same name, the latter of which is about the life of author Samuel Clemens and his writings as Mark Twain, according to the release. "Citizen Twain," the play, debuted in 2012 in Los Angeles.
Kilmer is best known for his memorable roles in the films Top Gun, The Doors and Tombstone. In 1995, Kilmer suited up as the Dark Knight in director Joel Schumcher's Batman Forever. He also starred in the films Willow, Heat and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.
