If you happen to be scrolling through Amazon, and you are a fan of Easton-based rock band Roi and the Secret People, then you may want to add the independent film Ceresia to your shopping cart.
The 2016 thriller is now available to rent on Amazon Video and features the Roi and the Secret People tune "O'Love." The song is taken from the band's album Phoenix.
Ceresia centers on a young artist who, after participating in experimental FDA drug trial, holds both his doctor and girlfriend hostage, according to IMDB.com. The film is directed by Jason Hammonds, whom RSP previously collaborated with on the former's 2007 indie flick The Jackknife Memoriam.
This is not the only time the music Roi and the Secret People has been used in an independent film. The band's song "Hungry" was featured in the horror flick Dead and Deadish.
Roi and the Secret People are currently readying their forthcoming EP Truck Stop Sushi, which is expected to drop later in the spring. Singer Mike Roi will perform Saturday with the Bastard Sons of Burt Sugarman at Porters' Pub in Easton.
