Bethlehem is the place to be this weekend for area photography hounds.
The fifth annual Olympus InVision Photo Festival is set for Thursday, Nov. 5, through Sunday, Nov. 8, to the SteelStacks complex and the Banana Factory.
The festival is part of the month-long Lehigh Valley Photography Month, which continues through Nov. 30. The festival will include workshops with professional photographers, the InVision College Photography Competition Exhibit and the Pennsylvania Photographers Juried Competition.
Among the highlights is Sunday's "A Day in the Life of Bethlehem" photography excursion with photographer Rick Smolan. Smolan's work has been featured in such magazines as Time, Life and National Geographic.
Weekend passes, which include all of the scheduled programming, cost $249; $219 for ArtsQuest members and students. Saturday passes, which include the day's presentations and party, cost $110; $100 for ArtsQuest members and students.
