Mercantile Home owners Ron Morris and Ken Jones Jr. are, without a doubt, two of the nicest people you will find in Easton. But they tease a much naughtier tone is in store this weekend when drag performer Hedda Lettuce returns to the State Theatre.
"Hedda Lettuce in Lettuce Rejoice: An Explosive Holiday Spectacular!" is set for 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, in the theater's Acopian Ballroom. The performance is part of Mercantile Home's Distinctive Music Series. The music showcase has previously featured such acts as Judy Collins, Kishi Bashi, Ari Hest, The Humble Grapes and Canadian jazz singer Barbra Lica. Hedda Lettuce performed in 2013 and 2014 as part of the Distinctive Music Series.
Morris and Jones on Monday sat down to discuss the evolution of the Distinctive Music Series and what fans can expect when Hedda Lettuce comes to town.
General admission tickets for Hedda Lettuce cost $26. VIP tickets cost $150.
