Video production company FireRock Productions has landed seven nominations for the 2015 Mid-Atlantic Regional Emmy Awards, according to a news release.
FireRock Productions, based in Emmaus, is owned and operated by the husband and wife team of Rocky and Julia Urich, the release states. The nominations are in the following categories: Youth/Teen Program/Special, Human Interest Feature/Segment, Lifestyle Feature/Segment and Public/Current/Community Affairs.
Rocky Urich additionally received nominations for craft achievement as short form editor, program editor and program photographer.
FireRock Productions has previously earned eight Mid-Atlantic Emmy Award nominations. The company's feature "Happiness is Always an Option" -- which spotlighted author and blogger Shane Burcaw ("Laughing at My Nightmare") -- won a 2013 Emmy, according to the release. (Burcaw suffers from muscular atrophy type II.)
The 2015 Mid-Atlantic Emmy Awards are scheduled for Sept. 19 at the Philadelphia Hilton.
