Comedian Liz Russo is bringing her struggle with addiction and road to recovery to the stage in the form of her stand-up show, "Dry Humor: Standup for Recovery."
The show is set for 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, in the Fowler Blast Furnace Room of the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks in Bethlehem. Tickets cost $15.
Through "Dry Humor," Russo shares her personal tale of triumph and life in recovery, according to ArtsQuest's website. Russo, a native of Easton, recently celebrated her fifth year of sobriety.
Proceeds from the show will benefit the non-profit Livengrin Foundation for Addiction Recovery.
Russo has opened for such nationally-recognized comedians as former Saturday Night Live cast member Colin Quinn and actor Gilbert Gottfried.
