Musikfest 2016: Lady Antebellum announced as first headliner

Country music group Lady Antebellum was announced Wednesday as the first headliner of the 2016 Musikfest celebration in Bethlehem.

The Grammy Award-winning band is scheduled for 7 p.m. Aug. 13 on the Sands Steel Stage. Tickets cost $54-$89. Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. Jan. 19 to ArtsQuest members, Jan. 22 to the public through musikfest.org and by phone at 610-332-3378.

Lady Antebellum's eponymous debut album spawned the hits "I Run to You" and "Love Don't Live Here." The trio's other hits include "American Honey" and "Need You Now."

Lady Antebellum headlined the 2014 Great Allentown Fair in Allentown.

Musikfest will be held Aug. 5-14.
