Singer-songwriter Stephen Stills and blues guitarist Kenny Wayne Shepherd will return to Bethlehem, this time as part of blues supergroup The Rides.

The band will perform 8 p.m. May 15 at the Sands Bethlehem Event Center, according to a news release. Tickets cost $29.50-$55.

Stills is a two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and founding member of influential folk-rock groups Buffalo Springfield and Crosby, Stills and Nash. The musician composed the former's biggest hit, "For What It's Worth," which would become one of the most iconic and defining songs of the turbulent late 1960s. Crosby, Stills & Nash previously headlined Sands in 2012 and 2014. The trio performed in 2009 at Musikfest and in 1989 at the Great Allentown Fair.

Shepherd is best known for the platinum-selling albums Ledbetter Heights, Trouble Is... and Live On. (Shepherd was 18 years-old when he released Ledbetter Heights in 1995.) Shepherd's hits include "Blue on Black," "Everything is Broken" and "In 2 Deep." He previously performed at Sands, with Robert Randolph and The Family Band, in March 2014. Shepherd headlined Bethlehem's Musikfest Cafe in September 2012.

The Rides -- rounded out by keyboardist Barry Goldberg, bassist Kevin McCormick and former Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble drummer Chris Layton -- formed in 2013 and released their debut album, Can't Get Enough, that same year. Goldberg's credits include performing with Bob Dylan as well as blues legends Muddy Waters, Otis Rush and Howlin' Wolf.
