'Weird Al' Yankovic, comedian Jo Koy heading to Bethlehem

"Weird Al" Yankovic will return, for the third time, to the Sands Bethlehem Event Center, officials announced Monday in a news release.

The concert is set for 8 p.m. Sept. 20. Yankovic previously headlined Sands in 2015 and 2013.

Tickets cost $39.50-$49.50.

Yankovic's 2014 album Mandatory Fun debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart -- a first for the singer, who released his self-titled debut album in 1983. Mandatory Fun featured the parodies "Tacky" (a spoof of Pharrell's "Happy"), "Foil" (poking fun at Lorde's "Royals") and "Word Crimes," which took aim at Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines."

His other parody hits include "Eat It," "Fat," "Like a Surgeon," "Amish Paradise," "Smells Like Nirvana," "Perform This Way" and the Star Wars-inspired "The Saga Begins."

Sands officials also announced in the release the addition of comedian Jo Koy to its 2016 lineup. Koy will perform 8 p.m. May 29.

Tickets for Koy cost $25-$35.

Koy has recorded two Comedy Central stand-up specials: Don't Make Him Angry and Lights Out. His late-night credits include appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live and Chelsea Lately.

Tickets for both shows go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, March 25, ticketmaster.com, sandseventcenter.com, by phone at 800-745-3000 and at the box office, 77 Sands Blvd.
