Area record collectors will have more than one reason to head to Allentown this weekend.
Merchants Square Mall on Saturday will host The World Famous Record Convention. The event is 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the main showroom. Vinyl seekers will be able to peruse thousands of vintage records, from punk to jazz to The Beatles and Elvis Presley, touts the venue's Facebook page.
On Sunday, Merchants Square Mall will be home to the Collectors CD, DVD and Record Show. That event will also take place in the showroom, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Cost is $3. Admission is free for children under 12.
