Philadelphia's The Hooters flying north for August stop in Bethlehem

Philadelphia's The Hooters will perform Aug. 24 at the SteelStacks complex in Bethlehem as part of ArtsQuest outdoor summer concert series on the Levitt Pavilion stage, officials announced Thursday in a news release.

Show time is 8:30 p.m. Tickets cost $39 and go on sale 10 a.m. May 17 to ArtsQuest members, 10 a.m. May 20 to the public through steelstacks.org and by calling 610-332-3378.

The Hooters rose to fame in the 1980s on the strength of such hits as "All You Zombies," "Day by Day," "And We Danced" and "Where Do the Children Go."
