Rapper Pitbull has a return date with Allentown

Rapper Pitbull will return Aug. 5 to Allentown, where he will headline the PPL Center.

The show was announced Monday in a news release.

Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. Saturday, May 14, through pplcenter.com and at the box office, 701 Hamilton St. Tickets cost $29.95-$139.95. Show time is 7 p.m.

For is second trip to the Lehigh Valley, Pitbull -- who opened the 2014 Great Allentown Fair -- will be joined by multi-platinum-selling Latin artist Prince Royce.

Pitbull's hits include the songs“I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho),” “Hey Baby (Drop It To The Floor)” featuring T-Pain, “Give Me Everything” featuring Ne-Yo, Afrojack and Nayer, “Timber,” featuring Ke$ha, and “Wild Wild Love,” featuring G.R.L. Pitbull's real name is Armando Christian Perez.
