Indie-punk duo Slingshot Dakota has cashed in their "Paycheck" for a trippy new music video.
Filmed in the basement of a home in Easton's West Ward district, "Paycheck" is a psychedelic, visual kaleidoscope of bursting color set to a driving synth riff and thrashing drums. The clip was directed by Easton-based artist/musician Josh Finck.
The single is featured on Slingshot Dakota's new album, Break. National Public Radio debuted the video on Thursday.
The Bethlehem-based, husband-and-wife team of singer-keyboardist Carly Commando and drummer Tom Patterson has been creating quite a stir this year. In March, the group was chosen by Rolling Stone magazine as one of its "10 New Artists You Need to Know."
