Progressive-metal band Dream Theater will rock the Sands Bethlehem Event Center in Bethlehem, officials announced Monday in a news release.
The show is scheduled for 8 p.m. Oct. 5. Tickets cost $35-$59.50.
Dream Theater consists of vocalist Jamie LaBrie, guitarist John Petrucci, bassist John Myung, keyboardist/multi-instrumentalist Jordan Rudess and drummer Mike Mangini.
The Bethlehem stop is part of Dream Theater's The Astonishing tour.
The band has released 13 studio albums since their formation in 1985. Their most recent effort, The Astonishing, dropped in January.
Dream Theater's 1992 album Images and Words has achieved gold status. In 2006, Guitar World magazine ranked the quintet's album Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from a a Memory No. 95 on its list of "100 Guitar Albums of All Time."
