Comedians Maria Bamford and Brian Posehn and The Winery Dogs front-man Richie Kotzen are among a slew of new shows coming to the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks in Bethlehem.
Singer Puddles Pity Party, comedian/former Cash Cab host Ben Bailey, indie rockers Church Girls, Amy Lynn and the Honey Men, Rush tribute Lotus Land and Allman Brothers Band tribute Live at The Filmore round out the list.
Tickets for all of nine of the announced shows go on sale 10 a.m. Tuesday to ArtsQuest members and 10 a.m. Jan. 27 to the public through steelstacks.org. Tickets can also be purchased by calling 610-332-3378.
In addition to starring in Netflix's Lady Dynamite series, Bamford is the first female comedian to have two Comedy Central Presents specials. She also lent her voice to the animated series BoJack Horseman and Adventure Time.
Posehn has appeared in numerous television shows, including Seinfeld, Mr. Show and The Big Bang Theory. His Netflix stand-up special, The Fartist, debuted in 2013. Posehn has also co-written Marvel Comics' "Deadpool" series.
Prior to forming The Winery Dogs in 2013 with Dream Theater drummer Mike Portnoy and former David Lee Roth bassist Billy Sheehan, Kotzen's single "Dream of a New Day" was featured on the Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey soundtrack. The Reading native was signed to his first record deal at age 18 and released his eponymous debut album in 1989.
