Punk duo Slingshot Dakota is celebrating the one-year anniversary of their album Break with a new music video for the single "You."
The clip features footage of the band's recent tour with Philadelphia's Kississippi.
The Bethlehem-based husband and wife duo of singer-keyboardist Carly Commando and drummer Tom Patterson are currently on the road and will soon head to Austin, Texas for the annual South by Southwest festival. They will perform March 15-17.
The duo recently dropped a new EP, Broken. The EP consists of two previously unreleased songs: "Grudge" and "Dying Stars." Broken is available digitally and as a 7-inch vinyl record.
Break was released in March 2016 through Topshelf Records. That same month, Rolling Stone named Slingshot Dakota one of its "10 New Artists You Need to Know."
Commando earned an Emmy Award for her original piano score, which was featured in a 2007 episode of The Simpsons. The song was also used in the 2006 viral video "Noah Takes a Photo of Himself Every Day for 6 Years."
