Food Network star, author and television personality Alton Brown has extended his "Eat Your Science" live tour, including a Nov. 8 stop at the State Theater in Easton, officials announced Monday in a news release.
Brown's interactive stage show is described as a blend of science, music and food -- including puppets, comedy, songs and culinary demonstrations. Show time is 7:30 p.m.
Tickets, which cost $55-$150, go on sale 10 a.m. Thursday to theater members and 10 a.m. May 11 to the public. Attendees can purchase tickets online at statetheatre.org and by calling 610-252-3132 or 800-999-STATE.
Brown is best known as the host, creator and writer of the popular television series Good Eats, which ran for 14 seasons on Food Network. Brown also hosted Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen series and served as the culinary commentator on Iron Chef America.
Additionally, Brown has written eight books on food and cooking. His most recent published work is "EveryDayCook."
