The inaugural "Easton Out Loud" event opened with a bang, not a whimper, Friday night in downtown Easton.
Participating art galleries and retail businesses kept their doors open until 10 p.m. Kids huddled around a vintage "Pac-Man" arcade machine that was set up on the sidewalk in front of The Game Gallery.
At Rivals Sports Bar & Restaurant, the Easton School of Rock students blasted their way through tributes to Ween and psychedelic rock. Americana rockers Acoustic Kitty Project closed down the festivities with a rousing performance in Centre Square.
Amid the hoopla, Common Space kitchen held their grand opening. A steady stream of curious onlookers and hungry foodies flocked in and out of the room throughout the night.
"Easton Out Loud" will be held on the fourth Friday of every month. The next event is set for June 23.
