This Way to the Egress, a six-piece music ensemble from Bethlehem, has joined national recording artists Saving Abel, Puddle of Mudd and August Burns Red on the list of acts set to headline Easton's new music venue.
The six-piece ensemble is scheduled for July 8 at One Centre Square. Doors open at 8 p.m..
This Way to the Egress combines cabaret, calypso and roots music into one a vintage sound that is anything but traditional. In March 2016, the band performed during a screening of the cult classic propaganda film Reefer Madness as part of ArtsQuest's "Soundtrack Comes Alive" series.
The band is in the midst of post-production on a new studio album, which was funded through a Kickstarter campaign.
One Centre Square is located in the former Drinky's space in Centre Square. The venue was originally planned to open earlier this month, but delays have pushed back the start date.
One Centre Square is now set to open June 10 with a performance by hip-hop artist PnB Rock.
