Grammy Award-winning country music singer-songwriter Chris Stapleton was announced Wednesday as the first headliner of the Great Allentown Fair.
Stapleton will perform Sept. 2, reports LehighValleyLive.com. Tickets, which cost $65 and $45, go on sale 10 a.m. March 19.
Stapleton released his debut album, Traveller, in 2015. The album spawned the singles "Tennessee Whiskey," "Nobody to Blame" and the title track and topped the Billboard 200 chart. He won the 2015 Country Music Association Award for Best Male Vocalist.
In February, Stapleton took home Grammy Awards for Best Country Album and Best Country Solo Performance. He has written songs for such artists as Kenny Chesney, George Strait, Darius Rucker, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley and Adele.
The Great Allentown Fair runs Aug. 30 through Sept. 6.
